My little Man!

Cant believe he is 6 months already! Time flies so fast! He is such a joy to us! Deric is really a good baby! If only he could stay a baby forever lol uh it will be hard once I go back to work since Im glued to this lil guy all the time lol!

Crazy ridiculous why I haven't blog again in here! But i'm not surprised at all because it seems like blogging is been just on the side not like it used to be! Anyways how I've been? I still can't believe that i am now aa mom of two beautiful kids now! My Lauren turned six last Dec26th and baby Deric is 6months old now! Wow just wow! Time just went by so fast! Its like yesterday I just gave birth to him and now he is 6months old, everyday he is learning and developing new things, this baby needs to slow down! If possible I want him to stay as an infant forever lol! (no way eh!) One reason why I havent been blogging is when I had my Ipad or Iphone I was too lazy to type in one hand on a touch screen! So just recently, I bought this pink Ipad Bluetooth Keyboard (Im still playing around with it) and I must say I so missed typing lol! It was nice to finally type normally on a keyboard! The pink color is a bonus too! I have a black ipad 2 and still looks good with it! My daughter is so jealous that she is been asking me to get her own for her ipad mini but whats the point, she is still learning how to read and write, on and actual books, paper and pencils\pens lol! For sure I get a lot of use with this keyboard, hoping to blog more often, I miss blogging most of the time, there are not enough excuse for me not to blog but I'm still having a hard time finding time to accomodate my kids and my partner and gazillion things to do around the house! I dont even know if anybody is still reading my blog! (says I have 198 followers?) so cross fingers more updates on this blog soon! For now I'll end this as we are getting ready to start our day by going to church :) have a good day everyone!

New LOVE

Kind of late post but Hey everyone meet the new addition to our family! Yey! He is a month old now, as they say first month or 2 is the hardest and sleepless nights but soooo worth it! We name him Deric Andrew! Was born August 20, 2013 at 12:29noon. He's 7.3lbs and 19inches. I was induced 38wks on my pregnancy due to GD (gestational diabetes) he turned out with average weight and healthy! I was so relieved that i delivered him vaginal and there is no complications whatsoever! Im so inlove with our new baby and my 5yr old daughter Lauren is beyond excited, she is an awesome big sister! Im so happy and content! :)

Not worth the Hype

So as my title goes.... Not worth it! Its $14.99 plus tax CDN here and i think there is nothing special about these nailpolish brand at all! I could easily compare this to the cheapest wet and wild nailpolish i had and they are probably in the same category or even worst! So streaky and not as opaque as u see in the bottle! Plus it chipped in like 2days! my cheapie Sally hansen lasted on me a week without chipping lol! I purchased the shade "yummy mummy" as i want a neutral polish that goes into a lot of things! I'd rather buy an OPI or Essie they are a bit cheaper :) but good quality!

Baby Gear

Oh boyyy! Yeppers baby stuff gets expensive gaaah and didnt realized that at all while picking out stuff for our baby! With my daughter (shes 5 now!) i didnt had the chance to pick out anything because I had a baby shower plus I dont know whats good in this and that in terms of baby stuff! But this time I want specific things for baby and me and my honey bur decided not have a baby shower! I started buying baby stuff even before we found out the gender of our baby, i bought more neutrals but when we finally found out we are having a boy of course thats when i started collecting more on boy things! i didnt spend to much I would think! The process of me buying stuff for baby is very minimal i didnt go over the top! I just went practical on whatever I need! I took advantage on going to garage sales, summer time is great to to do my shopping, got good deals on some big ticketed items from garage sales and also I keep an eye on gently used items online like on Kijiji or on FB buy and sell groups! But I knew I wanted a brandnew, good quality and more expensive carseat and esp stroller so when we got money gifts from both of our family we spend it on buying the Britax B-agile travel system! After few months of looking, dreaming and researching for reviews online and showed to the baby daddy what i want, we finally settled to get it :) i was over the moon because i know i really really love it! I also bought a new diaper bag and i really liked the Skip Hop brand so i got that one and waited to go on sale at babies r us saved 30%off lol! Then this August is a breastfeeding month and i heard of special offers all month long on baby stuff for free just pay shipping so I ordered the carseat canopy for free on carseatcanopy.com (check it out!) hope i'll get on time before baby comes :) the canopy will look great ober my britax carseat carrier! Also there is an offer on a free baby sling at sevenslings.com im so tempted to order one but we just bought a similar item not too long ago so i didnt bother! I have at least 2-3 wks before baby comes (no induce date yet!) so excited! Keep u guys updated! :)

I love this.....

I'm just a powder kind of girl not so much using a foundation as I easily get breakouts! The only liquid foundation I own and worked for me in years was MAC liquid foundation studio fix (NC40) but yep its expensive plus i dont wear liquid foundation that often only on occasions when I go to a party dinner! I usually just moisturized and used Studio Fix powder or my mineralized skin finish by MAC! I got rid of my bottle of my MAC foundie as i remembered its been 3-4yrs in my drawer so its time to "back to MaC it" with the rest of the other MAC products like lipsticks and lipgloss that I got rid of! I exchanged it for a new eyeshadow! (Will do post a blog separately on this lol!) anyways back to foundation...i was watching a lot of youtubes lately because Im taking it easy now that Im off work and having a baby pretty soon! Im curious to try out drugstore foundation but cant decide on which one since there are so many of them came out at the same time! There is maybelline, loreal, cover girl, and revlon! I bought the Revlon nearly naked foundation first but i felt like it doesnt last long for the whole day even with primer underneath it! Then I got coupon for cover girl in a magazine from waiting at the Dr's office on my appointment im not sure if im allowed to take it but whatevs I took it lol and used the 2bux off! I decided to try the cover girl's outlast stay fabulous 3-in-1 foundation And lucky me its on sale too at the drugstore for $8.97 (normally it retails for $10.97) so bought for $6.97 wooot! This foundation supposed to last the whole day, can be used as concealer and have a built in primer! Cool right?! The first time I tried using this we have a very very hot weather! For experiment I didnt put anything underneath just my normal moisturizer which i always do, but i didnt apply any foundation primer, i applied and its soo smooth, applied a tiny bit as a concealer on my undereye and works great for that as well! Good coverage with just one pump! (Pump is a huge plus for me, love it) went out in the morning and went garage sale and thrifting with a friend, I came back home around 5pm, Did some things done around the house didnt even realized I still have my makeup on! I checked by 9pm and im sooo impressed! My makeup stayed just as when I applied it in the morning....will slightly faded but u cant even tell lol! Im amazed that no extra step on applying primer and i noticed its no shine at all after a long day under the sun! I so love this foundation and I tried for 2-3wks now and I can say I have not developed any breakouts whatsoever! This foundie is a keeper and its a fraction of a price on the high-end brand I usually buy! For reference my shade is Soft Honey perfect match if ur a MAC NC35-40 user!

Pregnancy Update!

Sorry for lacking updates on this blog but you guys knew that already lol! My pregnancy was not that easy as I have mentioned it on my previous post but on the brighter side we found out what we are having! Obviously on the pic....YEs we are having a BOY! We are beyond happy! At first my 5yr old not thrilled of having a baby brother coz she ask for a sister but oh well by the time baby comes she'll for sure love being a sister to her brother :) Im a bit nervous tho because Im clueless in taking care of a boy lol plus its my better half's first child so we both have no idea when it comes to this haha! Nah we r going to be fine....I hope! :)

Pregnancy Update: GD!

Hello my blog readers! Remember my face? Haha jk! So here is my pregnancy update: Im almost 16 wks pregnant and Im just getting back into things but I still have days when I just dont feel at my best! On my 13th wk they diagnosed me with Gestational Diabetes, they put me on a serious blood sugar monitoring for a week but I failed that and started my Insulin intake 3days ago! Its not too bad like I expected! Doctors and her staff helped me in so many ways that it looks so easy to cope up with my situation! My family dont have Diabetes history and I didnt have GD when i was pregnant with Lauren (my 5yr old DD) so I was shock when they told me that I have GD with this pregnancy! I still prick my fingers 4times a day to check my blood sugar and now I have to inject insulin but only once a day! Im so scared dealing with needles but my Dr's assistant taught me some tricks not to hurt so much, its easy actually! Im just worried if my baby inside is ok! I'll be going to a numerous test and fetal assessments until I gave birth and after I gave birth! Hope everything will be fine. I dont want to think too much as its too stressful to deal with this GD ugh! Ill be fine, i have to be strong for baby right?! :)

Try & Try

I've been using Rimmel's fix and perfect face primer for the last couple years and I love it I tried high end face primers like makeup forever, smashbox and mac but didnt love as much as the rimmel one so i stick to it for yrs lol but now I feel like I need to try something new! I heard a lot of good things about this Hard candy sheer envy face primer, i saw at walmart for a pretty reasonable price so i got it and I also the wet and wild by fergie nailpolishes they are all pretty but i only got one just to try out! So we will see how this 2 products go if ill end up loving it :)

Hey Hey :P

OMG! Haven't been here in a long time! I do really miss this! Ive been busy with work and also Lauren is officially in kindergarten half days so my hands get hectic! But I have an announcement since I posted this anywhere else but here lol! Me and my other half is Expecting a baby! Lauren is more excited than me, i feel nervous and scared coz i really cant imagine having more than just 1 child! My honey bear is beyond excited as well, its his first child so he gets anxious and oh much nervous than i do lol! My EDD is in the Middle of August, summer baby for a change! (Our family got lots of December bdays lol) My Ultrasound is scheduled next week and also a Drs appt, so im excited to see my little beanie soon! In terms of morning sickness, yes im getting that a lot not only in the morning but it comes and goes through out the day/night! Hope at 2nd trimester itll go away!
