Hello ya'll how's everyone's Halloween? Mines is just ok but not as fun as last year's hmmm but this is my daughter's "real" Halloween experience in trick or treating! Last year was not official because she was on her stroller and don't know whats goin on, she's just 11months dat time but this year she's walking and dress up as a water fairy princess so cute with her pink furry bag! We went to the mall trick or treating it was uberrr pack with parents and kids! Too much screaming kids and ohhh the crankiness of some parents are just eeeek! I came home with Lauren with headache and just few candies in her bag! Some stores in the mall didn't participate so not much treats we got but thats ok at least she had fun going from store to store! She even got her Halloween portrait for free! haha!

Oh about the contest...WOW thanks everyone who already participate and it is still open till the end of this month so join now! :P I will update this later as for now I am heading off to work byeeee!

Before I will announce the start of my blog contest I will do this post for my wkend buy coz really I am excited for these items I got over the weekend LOL!

Beauty Rush by Victoria Secret at La Senza (canadian version of VS) has a sale going on to their makeup things its buy 5 items for $10 and I grab 4 lipshines (these are awesome lippies) and 1 glitter liner (for haloween :P)

Then check this out I bought 2 Urban Decay eyeshadows for $4.99 each at Winners (kind of TJmaxx here in Canada)! Seriously awesome deal! At Sephora they sell $21 each of these eyeshadows! I got it in shade of "acid rain" a very pretty apple green and "chain" a dark rusty green! Thinking they go together for a great green look :)

I went to Sephora also and got this Benefit full-finished lipstick that i've been wanting forever! Its kind of pricey...yah I know $23 bucks plus taxes duh! But I'm inlove with it so I can't do anything about it haha!
I got these Mac holiday things the past weekend....this 6 devilishly warm eyeshadow pallete is loveeee, the colors are very wearable so I practically use this to work everyday! The mineralized blush in "superduper natural" is my first mineralized blush despite of the disapppointment on the mineralized duo eyeshadow I bought months ago! This blush is great..gives u that natural glow on ur cheeks!

No more shopping for myself from now on I have to start shopping for gifts for Christmas haha better head off to toys r us soon I have to buy gifts for the kiddos ....my "inaanaks" (god childrens), for my nephew and of course for my darling daughter lol! Hello ladies...been MIA but I'm good thanks! This is my MAC purchase last wkend I just didn't have that push I needed to blog about it ngerr! I'm so behind reading all my ladies' blogs and replying comments, busy adjusting at work and at home! Went last weekend for my Mac fix and take a personal look on the new collections came out, originally I want to get the Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask from the Mac Black collection but danngg 2 Mac stand/store are sold out! Soo disappointed! And Dsquared looks so promising I wanted the bloody red lipstick but when I went there it was so busy and the lipstick is missing in the counter and the MUA took so long searching for it so I was like whatever! I didn't get any in neither of the 2 collections hahaha! Enough said here's my little Mac purchase:

l-r: Lipstick in "brave", Select cover up NW35 me loves this concealer bought it because I ran out hehehe and lastly the Matte matte-ifier!

So excited to try this Matte matte-ifier, I heard a lot of good things about this...looks like a gel in the tube but actually it was a cream? Yes a cream that acts like a powder, a no shine matte texture in one smooth layer. Can use especially on T-zone area to reduce the appearance of shine. Can also use in eyelids before applying eyeshadow or paints to help increase the longevity of the makeup and creasing! (from the website click here) Wow eh! I tried once and it really works wonders on my oily T-area! I loveee it! I will try and test it out on my eyelids 2day and wear it all day i will let you guys know how it turns out :D

This lipstick in "brave" is a pretty pink nudish color I'm in love with it...the texture is amazing its a satin finish lipstick! I am beginning to get lipsticks now than lipglosses! I used to be just a lipgloss girl and hates lipsticks but now it changed how i'm liking lipsticks even more! I know crazzzzzyyy right?! LOL!

This weekend is our long weekend its our Thanksgiving weekend and 2day I am taking out my darling daughter for a walk in the mall and maybe...yep maybe a trip to MAC counter again? ahaha! I am lemming for the perfume the pink one "pinkaura" I smelled it last time I was there and I can't stop thinking about it ugh! But there is a sale at Superstore on the Marc Jacobs "Daisy" perfume! Sooo im torn which one should i get!? We will find out tonight...oh yeahhhh follow me on twitter -----> in you haven't have twitter go here and sign up! Its really fun I promise hahaha! Although I don't tweet as much as I would like during work days because cellphones aren't allowed in my work building! (my work is so strict about that rule!) So last weekend was mother and daughter outing to the mall! We just walk around window shopping LOL! On our way to the mall my dad told me that Provencher Blvd is closed under construction errr so I took another route by Marion then Panet Rd...my mood changed when I saw my old job building, closed, locked up and sooo empty! SAD really, a lot of people work hard in that company, made friends and sure LOTS of unforgetable memories haaaay! Anywhoooo after passing by over there danng there is the train made a huge traffic so we got stuck for 15mins ahaha...Lauren fell asleep by Babyface's CD and the weather is awful, rained all day ugh! I was looking at Lauren while she's sleeping, my baby got soooo big already she doesn't look like a baby anymore haha! I love her to pieces my cutie patootie :D

Little MAC-ing!

It's been awhile since my last post but I have 2 make this blog entry b4 I forget about it! I bought the mac 188 stippling brush, the smaller version of 187! Sooo cute and been wanting this brush for a long time...me luvs it! The 2nd item was from the Hello Kitty collection "lucky tom" pallete! I love all the colors especially the "paradisco" eyeshadow its the pretty peachy one, lemming for that like forever LOL! I would've bought any of this if not from an awesome friend with a Mac Pro Card :D (tnx Ashlee)

I can't wait to try the lucky tom pallete I tried it and I liked the color combination in the quad so pretty and wearable!

Anywhoooo from other things on what's going on with me I am adjusting on my new job and the idea to work and leave my daughter at home is tough! I love her more than anything in this world but I have to work to make a living for both of us! Work is great so far...I'm still getting the hang of it in using their computer system and getting used to count backwards! I met a few nice people who are willing to help me out :)

Working Mom?!

On my previous update that I posted here about my job hunting...well the job hunt is over my friends! I applied at least 10 companies and I got 2 call-backs! Actually I got a call back first at a Banknote manufacturer (pbanknote), offered me a job and then a few days later I got a call from the hospital(st.boniface), thinking that they will never call me back because I have no experience whatsoever working for a place like that but surprisingly they offered me a job too :) I feel so blessed for the job offers and asking if which one will be best for me?! So I accepted both LOL! I know eh...but the plan is I will start on Monday at pbanknote because they offered me a job first and if I don't like it I can still go to the hospital just because I haven't got confirmation when to start so by the time I started on the other job I know it by then if I will like it or not....yeah?! hahaha!

Yes...I will be working mommy! I have this mommy side of me that I'm sad because I will no longer have that much time for my daughter! I am doing this for her future! I am partly single-mom and I need a full-time job to support our needs and wants :) I am excitedly nervous hahaha! So wish me goodluck all of you blogger friends! laters muah! :D

Everyday Eyeshadow Quad

Here is my Annabelle Eyeshadows that I put in a custom Elf compact and I use this almost everyday! I have Mac and other different brands of eyeshadows but I love Annabelle eyeshadows, they are very smooth, pigmented, easy to blend and super creamy! As promised on my previous entry I will do some swatches! I also did a look using this quad on my previous post!

The pictures are not that clear so sorry I should've take pics under a natural lighting but I did this during night time so the picture won't do any justice on how pretty these eyeshadow colors! If you guys are from Canada try Annabelle cosmetics check out their website they are great quality of makeup! They also have pan form of eyeshadows like Mac's pro pan shadows! They have the regular single pot shadows, their eyedust (pigments) are really nice too! (I am not promoting or anything....i wish they could give me free stuff bwahaha!) It is not available in US or International but check their website I might be wrong!

My Saturday was just ordinary weekend trip to the mall but then I saw this.....

Yessss Apple store is coming to the mall near us soon! woot! I'm not a Mac user but I'm considering of owning a macbook or macbook pro soon! A good reason why I have to save up now LOL!

Now on to my FOTD! I did my usual eyeshadow look and used my Annabelle Quad that I basically use like almost everyday LOL! I love my go-to quad will take a pic and do some swatches soon, maybe on my next post?! :D

1. Smashbox's Headshot eyeshadow trio, i think this is the best on the go eyeshadow trio! I have the trial size and I used it for work, love to have the full size ahehe! You can buy at Sephora!

2. Nars Eyeshadows (duos or singles) heard a lot of good things about their eyeshadows and would like to try it out! I prefer neutral shades or anything that I can wear everyday meaning no crazy colors :P

3. Juicy Couture Perfume been lemming for this in ages I don't know why I end up not getting it but I know I really really want it, look at that pretty bottle sooo gorgeous LOL! Availabe at the Bay, Sears, Sephora or even at SDM beauty boutique!
4. Chanel Cosmetics every makeup lover should have at least Chanel in their collection right?!

6. Lululemon Bomber Jacket see more pictures and info about this jacket here!
7.Proactiv kit! Yes its working for me and used it for awhile and now Im now religiously using it to get rid of my acne hehe!

8. Slapchop with the bonus grater (only available online or tv offer) Look so much easier preparing meals with this gadget especially for onions, garlic and tomatoes for my "ginisa" recipes :)

9. MAC 209 brush! Eyeliner brush!

10. Grey's Anatomy DVD sets in season 4 and 5 (also if there is 6th maybe lol!) I missed a whole lot on TV so I need to catch up! This is one of my fave TV show and McDreamy is mine okai! LOL!

11. Tiffany and Co hoop earrings 1837 ....who doesn't like Tiff &Co??? yup!
12. Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair concentrate! Very talk about skin care and good reviews so I am very curious to try this out!

13. Canon Powersho t 12.1mp! I always tell myself if ever I will buy a camera it would be Canon and so my Nikon Coolpix is ready to be replaced...yeah?!
14. Lastly...Blackberry addict like me needs to upgrade to a new Blackberry Tour!

Me Luvs Accessories!

I love makeup...but also I love accessories! Darn! LOL! Not too long ago I noticed to myself when I go to the mall Im not really makeup driven instead I look for cheap fashion jewelries like rings, necklaces and of course earrings! I love earrings and for some reason it makes me giddy whenever I see cute earrings haha!

Went to the mall 2day with my family and of course I went straight to SuzyShier! Ok this store is soooo awesome! I love their accessories they are all cute and cheap too! The store mainly sells clothes from casual to office clothes to dresses which I bought almost all my dressy type clothes! This is like a low-key Forever21 LOL! So today I went there and they have a sale on their accessories 2 for $5! I bought the chadelier earrings its silver with rhinestones which I'm totally inlove with because its so light, it looks heavy but its not! Then a ring with black stone in silverware so cute! Those two caught my eye so I thought thats it for now I have to control myself not to buy a lot because all of them are cute, I want them all! But when I was about to pay I saw the bin near the counter full of earrings and bangles for $1.95ea I was like oh wait...gotta look there too ahaha! I I found this silver flower earrings with black rhinestone in the middle and i thought its adorable! Also a hoop earrings with blue beads, really cute! I don't have blue earrings so I just have to get it! I spend less than $9 and that is with taxes too so I thought that was a good deal! Anywhoooo bohooooo thats it for now and laters lovely lovers :D ciao!

A Little Update!

Been busy lately! Sorry for not blogging but here I am updating you guys of whats going on! Alright, for the past couple of months now I am looking for a job either part-time or full-time but depending on what shift! My maternity leave was done way back last December and they closed my previous job plus I don't have baby sitter for day time anyways...sucks eh! Really drive me nuts not working for how many months now! Although hubby financially support us and have a little bit of savings in the bank, money is not the issue! I am thirsty of going back to work, I love my darling daughter to death but I really need to get in my feet again and be me...working! hehe! My hours of availability is not that flexible now that I have my daughter! I don't want her stay into a daycare so I'm just relying on my brother and my dad's time off in their perspective job LOL! I chose any evening positions! There are lots of jobs out there and lots of people looking for a job right now andI can say they are my competitions! 2 companies called me for an interview out of at least 10 places I hand out my resume!

First interview last week was the Hospital! I work as a volunteer in the hospital when I was in highschool and that was it! So I guess I can say I don't really work "work" in that area, hospital makes me sick just from the smell of it...I remember when I was giving birth to Lauren, I was pushing and puking at the same time UGH not good i tell yah! So the interview went well with this guy "boss" he said he liked our little chat and likes all the job experiences I had from the past! In my mind 'weeeeeee great!' , so yeah so he said they have to check my references, criminal record check and all that standard procedures in hiring someone, so I was like yeah yeah sure! Then he said..."oh by the way I will send you an email on consent form for credit check too!" ...ahmm WHAAAAT? I'm only applying for kitchen helper in the hospital and they need my credit history? for what? Oh well I said yes anyways so I waited and waited for whole week for that email and confirmation if I got the job but NOPE na-da! It ain't end of the world, its not meant to be eh so I keep lookin and handing out my resume!

Second interview was just today, I'm applying for evening shift in a banknote manufacturer. I was there early and confident for the interview! Thank goodness it went well! We have aptitude test but I find it easy so I'm positive about this and hopefully I'm going to get it! A job that I can relate to because its similar from my past job experience so I'm confident to have a call back...crossing fingers LOL!

September already?....fall is just about here and I'm excited, I dunno y hehe maybe I feel the crisp air saying Christmas is coming? ahaha! Anywho I am working on my wishlist and I'm going to post here soon so this is it for now and hopefully I can blog more often and wish me luck in getting a job :D laters!

Essie Nails

Two weeks ago I bought my very first Essie (www.essie.com) nailpolish in "sole mate" Its a rich deep dark purple, really really cute! Expensive? Ahm YES but it was on sale at Shoppers for $8.99CDN the regular price was $10.99 so I only saved $2 hahaha! Whatever! I was gonna buy one anyways sale or not, I just want to try it out whats so special on these Essie nailpolishes! Why they are expensive than any other nailpolishes? Maybe because they don't contain any Formaldehyde, DBP or Toluen and also claims to be durable and chip-resistant! So to break down my Essie experience here are my few pros and cons:

PROS:
-packaging is cute
-great consistency
-easy to dry
-not streaky
-no harmful chemicals (like I stated above...)
-long wear (lasted 2wks on my toes!)

CONS:
-way too expensive
-brush is thin and stiff
-less shade selection in store
-shades are easy to find in other brands (dupable)
-although it is pigmented u still needs at least 3 coats

Will I buy more Essie nailpolishes? Maybe not anytime soon! OPI is still the best for me but I'm still happy with my Essie purchase though because now I love it on my toes because it last long! So now I know why some people raves about this nailpolish LOL! Overall to me, Essie is just an OK nailpolish!

EOTD: Barbie Look?!

I browsed some looks at previous Mac collections. I love the Barbie collection, the one with the apple green and pinks on the eyes with falsies gave me an idea for this look but not a total replicate! I made it softer and simple :) I used my 78 Coastal Scents eyes/blush pallete for my eyes and cheeks! For the lips I used a nude pink lips from Mac called "bisque" this was discontinued I think but I got it from ebay a few months ago! Hope u gals liked it or hate it but oh well deal with it because I love this look it turned out pretty cute LOL! Ciao!

FOTD and New Lipstick

Kinda been awhile since I posted a FOTD ey?! Lazy to do one lately plus I have my monthly thing going on so I have some break-outs and its not pretty yahknow LOL! I know I got lots of lipsticks already but I've been looking around for a nice cheap nude lipstick for everyday wear...I found NYC's ultra-last lipstick in "mousse" and I love that one, only that is matte so I want something that is kinda glossy look so I tried the Rimmel lipstick in "Airy Fairy" it was the most talk about cheaper alternative nude lipstick in Youtube so I went ahead and bought it! Lucky me it was on sale for $3 so mind as well try it! I actually liked its really pretty nude pink, I also like the smell of it kinda fruity, it has that glossy look as well so I can wear it alone without putting any lipgloss on....really smooth in your lips too so all in all...me loves it :D

It feels like its been way too long since the last time I blog about my ELF haul, maybe because its August already ahihi! But anywhooo I want to order more from them! Seriously I love their makeup and its very cheap too even with costly shipping its still cheap compared to other cosmetics even drugstore brands! I will definitely order again from them soon I'm just waiting for complexion perfection powder on their studio line because they are out of stock! Thanks to Krystal for providing a discount code on her blog (thanks Krystal for sharing ahihi) Now for sure I will order from ELF again pretty soon!

And oh I bought a new pillowcases from Zellers last weekend and take a look ladiessss its Hello Kitty woot! It goes so well with my pink comforter huh LOL! But I want to get the whole bedset though but its way too expensive! I might get a twin bed in a bag once Lauren can sleep on her own bed :D Right now Hello Kitty pillowcases will do right now in our full double bed...its so cute!

ELF Arrived!

This is supposed to be my blog entry yesterday but since I was busy doing things with Lauren I put it off! But yup the title says it all my ELF purchase arrived yesterday yahoooooo! I put my order on the 17th of July that was Friday so I knew for sure they will not process my order on the weekends! I got an email on July 21st saying that my order was shipped already so I thought that was fast! Then yesterday I got it wuhooo considering I'm here in Canada I thought it'll take like 2weeks or more for me to get it! I was very skeptical in ordering from ELF because of the bad shipping reviews I heard to some people but lucky me! The shipping cost here in Canada is expensive but I got a coupon code for their "buy one get half off" so I took advantage of that and just ordered and sucked up the costly shipping fee errr! (used hubby's credit card... thank you very much mwahaha!)

I got 2 of the contouring blush and bronzer from the studio line so they are $3ea! I got no good reason why I got two! lol! Then the rest are $1ea so I got 3 pairs of lush lashes in natural, 2 eyeshadow brush, 2 blending eyeshadow brush because I heard of good things about this brushes....the brushes are softer than my sonia kashuk brushes loving these Elf brushes now wooot! 1 mechanical eyelash curler this is a great deal for a buck u get a really good quality eyelash curler me lovees it! 1 empty compact I am going to depot some of my Annabelle eyeshadows to put in this compact, 1 shine eraser blotting sheets and I got a free gift...a lipgloss tin in berry pop!

Comparison of the Elf duo and NARS blushes in "deep throat and orgasm" (names are horrible) The packaging of the Elf contouring blush and bronzer is similar to Nars' packaging but the Elf one is pure plastic and the Nars on the other hand have that velvety material to it! On the bronzer a lot compared to Nars Laguna bronzer but I dunno how to compare them because I don't own the Nars Laguna! But I have both of the Nars blushes that they often compared it to! So what do u girls think which one is closest to the Elf blush, is it the Nars "deep throat" or Nars "oragsm"???

I tried lots of lipsticks and lipglosses that didn't work out but I try my best not to go straight to garbage so what I do is I ask my mom or my friends if they want it and most of the time they do end up with them so I'm happy coz its not wasted :D I've been meaning to do some swatches but dannggg Lauren keep snatching my lippies so I was like forget it hehe! But if some of you needs some swatches on some of my lippies that u think u might like let me know...will do swatches when Lauren is sleeping so I could concentrate bwahaha! Its almost 3am and I can't sleep! (Ugh rant #1!) Anywhoooo, me and Lauren went out 2day because we both feel better! Last weekend was so hectic, started last Friday we are busy preparing for the garage sale but then I remembered shooot I gotta go to my friends daughters' (twins) 2nd bday! So we went to the bday party and told myself that we are not staying that long because I got lots of things to do still for the garage sale but NOPE we end up staying there until 930ish pm! Thank goodness its only a 5minutes drive to my house so I put Lauren for bed and I continued preparing for our garage sale then I started feeling sick! My throat is sore and headache! So I took tylenol colds and flu but it didn't work - feel more dizzy so I went to bed and snoozed then I woke up and felt like I have morning sickness! Its like someone hit me in the head, also my arms and legs are sore! Thinking ewwww F*CK if I got swine flu!

Ok moving on to the garage sale....even I felt so sick it didn't stop me from negotiating people who are really bargain hunters! Some are just pain in the butt lowering price! (This will be my rant #2?) So, I was selling Lauren's 3-in-1 basinet/playpen/changingtable for $60 it was practically brandnew then this filipino guy came by saying his wife is 5mts pregnant blah blah so he ask how much? I told him the price and he bargained right away $30bucks? I was like r u kidding me? He actually ask half price of my asking price! That baby item cost like $140 plus taxes at walmart duh! I told him alright $50bucks and that's my final price! And he was like nah I dunno mumbling here and there! I know he wants it that's why he was sticking around looking at our stuff then talking to me again and my bestie! I overheard him saying that he is actually embarrased walking around with his wife because she's huge! I was like WTF! I hate guys like that...shallow and stupid! And it doesn't end my frustration with this guy! He was talking to my bestie how my bestie looks good even she just got a baby, then he looked at me and out of nowhere he blurted "oh look at her looks like she didn't take care of herself!" I know I'm FAT so what? don't be so mean about it! I just want him to get out of our garage sale seriously so I offered my last price $40 take it or leave it or else get the hell out of our property! So he left with my playpen but seriously I HATE HIM and I swear he will have a FAT wife pretty soon KARMA!

Day 2 of our garage sale it was Sunday morning my whole body was sore! My throat is killing me! The weather is way too hot! My brother babysits Lauren but once in awhile she was with us outside helping to sell her junks hahaha! It was slow Sunday but not much of a bargain whores! Us asians are too cheap with almost everything but compare to white people they won't negotiate at all! Whatever the sticker price they pay! Too bad we live in asian community area so a lot of our buyers are asians ugh! (I'm not racist ok!) But u guys know what I'm saying right!?!

Rant #3 I completely lost my voice last Monday morning it was terrible! But at least Lauren is not that sick like me! Lauren got colds but its good that no fever involved! *sigh* Tuesday I still sound terrible till Wednesday! Thursday...still off-pitch but its getting there! Friday I felt great and finally my voice is getting back to normal yeeey!

My mini rant went too crazy but mostly ramblings that don't matter? Errr! Ok, its weekend once again and I hope I will have a good week ahead of me and I hope you guys will have it too :) night blogworld, laters!

New Baby!

As much as the title says it all I'm not preggers ok LOL! My brother loaned me a new Dell Mini (netbook) My old Acer laptop is done...with me anyways! I got my old laptop way before I got pregnant. That laptop served me 4years of good and bad times online! Kept me company while I was pregnant hehe! I remembered I wake up around 2am just to go use the washroom and cant sleep no more so I go check babycenter and askdramy online :D Ok here is my new baby's picture! Sorry not the actual pic but taken from the website! I'm just too lazy to do anything lately....so whatcha guys think?! check the website for more info about this netbook! Oh I also bought the cutest USB flash memory its Minnie Mouse, haaaa will take pictures of them soon :)

I wanted to do a EOTD/FOTD but I'm still sick till now! I lost my voice over the weekend and I still sound terrible err! I'm not in the mood doing looks or go through my makeup! Although I got my Chanel lipgloss in "coral reef" in the mail on my recent swap on MUA. I wanted to try it out but I'm really not in a makeup mood! But I love the lippie helloooo its Chanel! The swapper also included a free Smashbox lipgloss mini in "desire" from the look outside the tube its too light for me to wear it but maybe I'll find a way to mix it up with some of my darker/bright lipsticks! I swapped my Nars Lipgloss in "orgasm" I used it maybe 1x or 2x and I find it really sticky so I never touch it in awhile till I decided to put it up on MUA! Which now I'm happy with the Chanel lippie I got wooot! Ok this is for now...will blog more laters ahmm maybe a LOTD? FOTD? maybe baby?
