Engaged!

I recently got engaged! Yey! Last August 3rd of this year my honey proposed (will i knew because he asked me way back when i was not ready!) anyways I finally said YES! Lol! We love each other and our family is complete now! I feel so blessed! We set the date for our wedding and it'll be next year on August 29, 2015. We started booking the Church, we are still looking for our venue and photgraphers and such! It'll come together im pretty sure, its THE day of our lives that we will never forget! :)

Fall Weather

Fall is my fave season! I am excited to wear my scarves, fall jackets and boots! Im also excited for fall flavoured coffees and teas! And now I am excited for a lot of soup that ive been seeing lately, especially when I tried the Campbell's Creamy Thai...ohhh Loooove it. I bought 6 cans of them and thank goodness I did because when I went to 2 different Walmarts they are sold out for couple wks ugh! They have 2 other kinds of gourmet soups but this one is far best that I tried! :)

Lucky Me

I believe into a lot of things but sometimes I dont believe myself that I could do things! Yup, I am lacking confidence but I am working on it! :)

On my previous post I mentioned I am changing career and want to take Pharmacy technician but unfortunately with schedule, childcare and financial it wont work for us! I just dont know what to do, i really dont have plan B, i applied jobs that suits my experience but nobody seems to be hiring at the moment! Hard to admit that i am in the verge of depression! I was so unhappy and hard to function around my love ones! But when I see my kids enjoying my full time stay at home, the feeling is just priceless! Not in one day that i dont think of what i want to do with my life...i just have to do something! If Pharmacy Tech dont work then maybe there is something out there that can work for me! So i looked it up and came across a course that interest me, Dietary aide and Food Services Nutrition. With this certicate, I can actually work in hospitals, homecare or even hotels. So I decided to register at the College and will start this fall! I will just do a part time schooling during evenings so childcare wont be an issue for the kids. Plus its a short course 3-4mos, it'll come by quickly! The tuition I paid myself and didnt rely on government help (which they denied my childcare cost when I applied for help through province's employment insurance) So crossing my fingers and toes that everything will fall into place career wise and wont regret this change in my life! Its been stressful lately but I still believe that I am the luckiest woman to have 2 wonderful/adorable kids, my supportive family and most especially my partner, my rock, my love of my life for his unconditional love and support. Without them, I'll go cray-cray! Lol! ;)

Career Talk

I'll be loosing my job very soon due to shut down permanently, been trying to think a lot what Im going to do, if I'll look for a another job OR take this opportunity to go back to school! Im thinking to take Pharmacy Technician and its the closest to what Ive been doing as an Optical Lab tech! They dont offer in any school for an upgrade or course related for Optical Lab Technician so this is a change of career for me! I am nervous if I will get into the program! I havent been into school in like 10yrs! Lol! So weird to be inside class and do homeworks etc! It'll be a 10month schooling that includes practicum/training! Im excited but nervous at the same time! Another thing too is this is my first time to put both kids to daycare! On my oldest I never put her into one as I always worked opposite shifts but this time, i need to toughen up and let it go! Not too bad on my DD, she only need before and after school daycare but for my DS he's still a little baby and needs mommy :( ugh Just thinking about it is making me cry! Im doing this not for myself but its for both of my kids!

I wish......

My little Man!

Cant believe he is 6 months already! Time flies so fast! He is such a joy to us! Deric is really a good baby! If only he could stay a baby forever lol uh it will be hard once I go back to work since Im glued to this lil guy all the time lol!

Crazy ridiculous why I haven't blog again in here! But i'm not surprised at all because it seems like blogging is been just on the side not like it used to be! Anyways how I've been? I still can't believe that i am now aa mom of two beautiful kids now! My Lauren turned six last Dec26th and baby Deric is 6months old now! Wow just wow! Time just went by so fast! Its like yesterday I just gave birth to him and now he is 6months old, everyday he is learning and developing new things, this baby needs to slow down! If possible I want him to stay as an infant forever lol! (no way eh!) One reason why I havent been blogging is when I had my Ipad or Iphone I was too lazy to type in one hand on a touch screen! So just recently, I bought this pink Ipad Bluetooth Keyboard (Im still playing around with it) and I must say I so missed typing lol! It was nice to finally type normally on a keyboard! The pink color is a bonus too! I have a black ipad 2 and still looks good with it! My daughter is so jealous that she is been asking me to get her own for her ipad mini but whats the point, she is still learning how to read and write, on and actual books, paper and pencils\pens lol! For sure I get a lot of use with this keyboard, hoping to blog more often, I miss blogging most of the time, there are not enough excuse for me not to blog but I'm still having a hard time finding time to accomodate my kids and my partner and gazillion things to do around the house! I dont even know if anybody is still reading my blog! (says I have 198 followers?) so cross fingers more updates on this blog soon! For now I'll end this as we are getting ready to start our day by going to church :) have a good day everyone!

New LOVE

Kind of late post but Hey everyone meet the new addition to our family! Yey! He is a month old now, as they say first month or 2 is the hardest and sleepless nights but soooo worth it! We name him Deric Andrew! Was born August 20, 2013 at 12:29noon. He's 7.3lbs and 19inches. I was induced 38wks on my pregnancy due to GD (gestational diabetes) he turned out with average weight and healthy! I was so relieved that i delivered him vaginal and there is no complications whatsoever! Im so inlove with our new baby and my 5yr old daughter Lauren is beyond excited, she is an awesome big sister! Im so happy and content! :)

Not worth the Hype

So as my title goes.... Not worth it! Its $14.99 plus tax CDN here and i think there is nothing special about these nailpolish brand at all! I could easily compare this to the cheapest wet and wild nailpolish i had and they are probably in the same category or even worst! So streaky and not as opaque as u see in the bottle! Plus it chipped in like 2days! my cheapie Sally hansen lasted on me a week without chipping lol! I purchased the shade "yummy mummy" as i want a neutral polish that goes into a lot of things! I'd rather buy an OPI or Essie they are a bit cheaper :) but good quality!

Baby Gear

Oh boyyy! Yeppers baby stuff gets expensive gaaah and didnt realized that at all while picking out stuff for our baby! With my daughter (shes 5 now!) i didnt had the chance to pick out anything because I had a baby shower plus I dont know whats good in this and that in terms of baby stuff! But this time I want specific things for baby and me and my honey bur decided not have a baby shower! I started buying baby stuff even before we found out the gender of our baby, i bought more neutrals but when we finally found out we are having a boy of course thats when i started collecting more on boy things! i didnt spend to much I would think! The process of me buying stuff for baby is very minimal i didnt go over the top! I just went practical on whatever I need! I took advantage on going to garage sales, summer time is great to to do my shopping, got good deals on some big ticketed items from garage sales and also I keep an eye on gently used items online like on Kijiji or on FB buy and sell groups! But I knew I wanted a brandnew, good quality and more expensive carseat and esp stroller so when we got money gifts from both of our family we spend it on buying the Britax B-agile travel system! After few months of looking, dreaming and researching for reviews online and showed to the baby daddy what i want, we finally settled to get it :) i was over the moon because i know i really really love it! I also bought a new diaper bag and i really liked the Skip Hop brand so i got that one and waited to go on sale at babies r us saved 30%off lol! Then this August is a breastfeeding month and i heard of special offers all month long on baby stuff for free just pay shipping so I ordered the carseat canopy for free on carseatcanopy.com (check it out!) hope i'll get on time before baby comes :) the canopy will look great ober my britax carseat carrier! Also there is an offer on a free baby sling at sevenslings.com im so tempted to order one but we just bought a similar item not too long ago so i didnt bother! I have at least 2-3 wks before baby comes (no induce date yet!) so excited! Keep u guys updated! :)
