At Last.....Ipad2

Finally I got my IPad 2! After a long discussion in my head, I settled with an IPad just because it's very convenient for me! But it's not easy as I thought to buy these babies I didn't even realize that they are hot like pancakes! Everywhere I go like best buy, future shop, apple store are all sold out! I am this close to giving up! I woke today thinking I go to best buy and just get a whatever netbook! I chose the samsung netbook the sales guy came back and told me they have a bunch of them at the back if I'm ready to go he'll just get it on my way out but I ask him just in my curiousity if they have iPads stash at the back too? Lol! He said he'll go check and he came back smiling and said am I lucky or what? Haha! They just have shipment last night of a few iPads and I immediately told him I am more interested in the iPads....ditching the samsung on the side errrr! I prefer a white ipad2 but unfortunately the whites are all in 64gb and its not in my budget! Either 16 or 32 are all in black so got no choice to get a black one! I guess it doesn't matter which color I get....white would've be o sweet though lol! I Also got the pink smart cover and it look so cute, I feel like I'm convinced that the black is better with the pink :P

Shopping = Happy

I went shopping with my baby daughter to celebrate! Heck I don't know why we are celebrating hmm lets see....oh yah, finally last Tuesday on our final hearing they did announce the divorce I've been waiting for, so relieve that its over now after a year of a battle wheww! 2nd celebration, last May 1st was my 3month at work so I am now done my probation, my reviews are awesome at work and I get my benefits now! Me and Lauren can now visit a dentist and only pay 20percent of the cost and we can buy prescription medication not ripping my wallet! lol! Not to mention life insurance is a must have for a single mom like me! Yep I am happy with that! We got our Autopac insurance rebate, I put that towards buying an Ipad 2 but everywhere I go they are sold out and it really pissed me off! Oh well, I'm thinking of getting another netbook so we'll see how it goes lol! And last celebration....I am smoke free for few days now! Been on and off smoker for years, I hope I won't go back! I'll try my hardest to keep it up! :)

My new love of blushes came back and I am loving the Hard Candy's Fox in a Box! I have 3 shades now in "skinny dipping" , "truth or dare" and "spicy and sweet" ! I love love love the packaging they are so cute! And yah they are good blushes, pigmented and easy to blend! Bought it at Walmart for $5.98


When I saw this, it calls my name and i just have to get it! My boyfriend's parents gave me a $50 gift card at the Bay on my bday last month and i still haven't use it! i guess I'm just waiting for the right time to get something memorable! Indeed I am inlove with this ring! It was the Juicy Couture Pave Bow ring! Silver and pretty! $60

Pinkie Summer

Since its getting warmer here I am getting excited to wear some color other than black lol! Pulled out my black shorts that I bought years ago not sure where from :/ Also from my closet I got my white skinny jeans from Dynamite that I scored on sale for $10CDN last year! The pink flowy top is by Manhattan (says on the garment's label tag) I got this top at a thrift store Value Village so cheap and fabulous and only $5 lol! Normally I don't go thrift shopping and buy clothes but its actually fun, I found some awesome deals there like Calvin Klein, Micheal Kors, NineWest tops also a Coach wristlet that I scored for $2! Ok back to the outfit, I just mix and match with black shorts then switch to white skinny jeans for a total different look. I guess its like a day and night outfit idea!

Got this shoes last Christmas! I wore these at our work's Christmas party and its so cute! I still love them and its a fun shoe to pair it up with the right pieces of clothing or accessories! :) I got this for cheap at Shoe Warehouse for less than $15CDN

Its only my "Tuesday" tonight at work and I am feeling tired already! Every week I don't see the bf for the whole 2days! Kinda bummed about that every week lol! Good thing now that we live together we see each other on our days off!

La P'tite France

My late Birthday dinner with the boyfriend! He is French-Canadian so for a change we went to a french restaurant "La P'tite France" A cute restaurant with tasty food! I really like this restaurant, for sure this isn't the last time that we are going here, i love love the food and atmosphere...music is in french too, also the waitress is fluent in french, my bf and her can talk french no problem :) A little FYI about me: I have an Eiffel Tower obsession and I promised myself and Lauren that we both go to Paris when she turn 7yrs old! I still have 4 more years to save up so we could go all out with our Paris trip 2015 LOL! Right now all I have are things that reminds me of Paris, for example my make up bag got Eiffel tower on it, also I bought a picture painting of course with the famous tower to go in our bedroom! ha! Okkk lets go back to the restaurant shall we?! lol!

Up the Amp at 29

Wearing my birthday lipstick by MAC "up the amp"! Its a unique color lavander-ish pink and I loveee it! My birthday landed on Good Friday so we celebrate as mellow as possible so noooo party lol! And I worked the night before so I slept most of the day ha! I hope all of u had an awesome long weekend! Tooooodles!

Maxi Dress

I'm wondering if maxi dress suits me when Jannie mentioned on her FB that she want to buy a Maxi dress, I dunno if she end up buying one though?! I've been wanting a maxi dress for awhile now but I never thought that it will look good on me but since Forever 21 just opened last month I kinda want to try one so I did and I got hooked and got one in Navy blue which I like and its on a yellow tag for $12CDN! Its a strapless smock maxi dress, perfect for summer! Really looks cute with accessories :P! Still not cute on me but oh well...whatever lol! We are planning to go to the beach when the weather warms up so I am excited to wear this babeeeh :D

Thrift find!

Who would've thought that I will come to a phase that I will like vintage pieces?! Nah-ugh! I watch a lot of youtube videos on thrift hauls and a lot of them find good vintage pieces for cheap! I did some research in thrift shopping in what to really look for in terms of Vintage pieces, Retro pieces and antique pieces! Vintage pieces are items from 1920s to 1970s! Retro pieces are from 1960s and 1980s and antiques are items before 1920s!

Why thrift shop?! So we can dig up some treasures, pieces that can incorporate with our modern things nowadays! Also to find designer pieces that are wayyy cheaper than buying in retail stores! But what's so fun in looking up used items anyway? Some people don't get the idea of thrift shopping because they always think that everything is unsanitary! For me I'm not too picky in that area! If I buy thrifted clothes I make sure as soon as I bring all the items home it goes straight to the washer! Simple as that! You see...if you go to a retail store, do u think u are safe because you thought that the item is brand new?! I don't think so! You don't know how many people tried it on! I do the same process whether I buy brand new clothes or thrifted, it goes straight to the washer! But for some reason I have a rule that I don't buy any undergarments like underwear, lingerie and socks in a thrift store! For me its just too weird buying used items like that lol! I'm more into finding belts, bags, bangles or any fashion accessories! Sometimes I do like to look for designer clothes for cheap! :)

Speaking of bags....after watching a gazillion of thrifting hauls online, I kind of went to a Salvation Army near my house and see if I can find some good things/deals! My mission was to find a really nice vintagy looking belt, purse or any fashion things that are vintage looking even if its not real vintage from 1960's or whatever! I look through all their belts but nothing! I look for scarves but most of them are like forever21ish looking scarf ahaha! Then I look at the bag section and I found this really cool looking brown bag! I opened it up and it says real genuine leather and it was made in Canada! The coolest part was its only $5bucks!


So I look this bag up online and Mimo Sacs bags are from 1970s! Its leather inside and out! I love it! Still in really good condition, no scuffs or marks on the bag! The label is still intact and its clean inside! I really like the detailing on the outside and also the gold hardware is so cute! Out of all the nice things about this bag I like that fact that is a crossbody bag! I'm so into crossbody bags lately, so its like a bonus in scoring the bag for $5 you can't get a cute real leather bag anywhere not even at Forever21 lol!

Casual Wkend

Squeezing this post before I go to work LOL! Just an outfit of my weekend....I wore a slouchy crop purple shirt and i put a long black tank top underneath then a grey wash skinny jeans! For shoes I love my softmoc black boots they are the most comfortable boots ever! Similar to Uggs but these are more affordable but still durable! I have these boots for over a year now, they look pretty beat up because i use it almost everyday! For accessories I just throw in my favorite long heart necklace from Forever21! Don't mind the messy room....its laundry time as well ahaha! Plus it feels like unpacking to my move in this house is neverending! I still have 2 luggage to unpack and I'm living here 2months already agghhrr!

For makeup....as usual just my powder from MAC studio fix NC40, blush from NARS "outlaw", eyeshadow just the Urban Decay primer in Sin, then eyeliner from Estee Lauder that I love! Mascara "falsies" by Maybelline and for lips Rimmel "Airy Fairy" I top it with some random gloss that I can't remember it from LOL!
